State Dept. Updates Contractor Property Management Rules

Law360, New York (July 30, 2013, 5:23 PM EDT) -- The Department of State on Monday proposed rule changes that would require potential contractors to submit a description of their property management system and document property that either the government furnishes or the contractor acquires itself to fulfill the contract.

The Department of State Acquisition Regulation rule change, which the Federal Register says was accidently omitted in a 2012 revision, would bring DOSAR Part 645 back into compliance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 45. Without this rule change, DOSAR 645's current incarnation is not in compliance...
