Ex-Credit Suisse Banker Convicted Of Conspiracy

Law360, New York (February 4, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- Former Credit Suisse Group investment banker Hafiz Naseem was reportedly found guilty Monday of insider trading and conspiracy. The 37-year-old from Pakistan was accused of illegally feeding inside information to his friend Ajaz Rahim.

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission alleged that Rahim raked in more than $7.5 million in profits, including $5.1 million just from TXU securities, after taking phone calls from Naseem.
