Fla. Woman Sues Over Chinese Drywall In Condo

Law360, Miami (July 29, 2013, 7:23 PM EDT) -- A woman whose husband died of lung cancer after being exposed to defective Chinese drywall in a luxury Aventura, Fla., condominium building on Thursday sued the condo association, the realtor and the building's management company for allegedly lying to the couple about the drywall.

In a complaint filed in Florida's Eleventh Judicial Circuit Court, Adriana Grillet said she and her deceased husband, Juan Merino, specifically asked if Chinese drywall was present in the Peninsula II Condominium before signing a rental agreement.
