Carnival Worker Sues Over Unpaid Overtime Wages

Law360, Miami (July 31, 2013, 3:44 PM EDT) -- A Carnival Corp. worker on Friday filed a putative class action in Florida court accusing the cruise company of violating the Fair Labor Standards Act by failing to pay overtime wages.

In a complaint filed in Florida's Eleventh Judicial Circuit Court, Carnival purchasing agent Brenda Marin said she is owed almost $93,000 in unpaid wages for hours she worked in excess of 40 hours per week.
