Zynga Hits 'Bang With Friends' Sex App With Trademark Suit

Law360, New York (July 31, 2013, 4:21 PM EDT) -- Zynga Inc. sued the developers of the casual sex application Bang With Friends in California federal court Tuesday, alleging the program infringes trademarks for Zynga's “With Friends” line of Internet games.

The lawsuit says the inventors of Bang With Friends intended to capitalize on the notoriety of Zynga's family of “With Friends” branded games “in order to get noticed quickly in the sea of Internet applications.” The San Francisco-based company is seeking damages and an injunction that would require Bang With Friends to change its name....
