MetLife Sinks $145M Into Dallas-Area Apartment Complex

Law360, Dallas (July 31, 2013, 8:11 PM EDT) -- MetLife Inc. invested $145 million in a Dallas-area luxury apartment complex in a partnership with multifamily real estate investment trust UDR Inc. that will fund future development of the complex’s remaining 28 acres, UDR announced Friday.

The companies, which formed a $1.3 billion joint venture in January 2012 that now owns more 15 apartment properties across the country, now jointly own several luxury apartment buildings at Vitruvian Park, a multibuilding development complex in Addison.
