NY 'Shadow Docket' Law Shifts Onus To Foreclosure Lawyers

Andrew Cuomo designed to reduce the size of New York's “shadow docket," where thousands of strapped homeowners reside in foreclosure limbo as their costs escalate, will force lenders and their counsel to bring ironclad suits or risk quick dismissals, experts said Thursday.
