Arbitration Ordered In GE Capital TCPA Class Action

Law360, New York (August 2, 2013, 4:51 PM EDT) -- A California federal judge on Friday put the brakes on a proposed class action accusing General Electric Capital Corp. of violating the Telephone Consumer Protection Act by repeatedly calling people after being asked to stop, and ordered the plaintiff in the case to begin arbitration instead.
