Hearst Corp. Defeats Arrestee's Class Defamation Claims

Law360, Los Angeles (August 5, 2013, 9:43 PM EDT) -- The Hearst Corp., its affiliates and other local media companies defeated a putative defamation class action in Connecticut federal court on Monday filed by a woman who claimed she was smeared by stories of her arrest, which was later expunged.
