Weinstein Co. Sued Over 'Deep Throat' Star Biopic

Law360, New York (August 6, 2013, 7:30 PM EDT) -- The filmmaking company behind “Deep Throat” sued Tuesday to block the distribution of The Weinstein Co.'s biopic on Linda Lovelace, the iconic pornographic film’s star, arguing that its trademarks and copyrights have been infringed.

Arrow Productions Ltd. asked a federal judge to stop the launch of The Weinstein Co.-distributed “Lovelace,” which is slated to appear in theaters Aug. 9.
