Amp'd Suits Seeks $10M In Pre-Bankruptcy Payments

Law360, New York (February 6, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- Defunct mobile phone carrier Amp'd Mobile LLC has fired off 20 lawsuits against parties involved in its bankruptcy proceedings, hoping to recover over $10 million it paid to creditors before diving for Chapter 11 protection.

The suits, filed over the past week in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Delaware, target defendants including Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith Inc., GE Capital Financial Inc., Latham & Watkins LLP and Wilson, Sonsini, Goodrich, Rosati PC.
