Insurers Lose Bid To Overturn Bratz Coverage Ruling

Law360, Los Angeles (August 8, 2013, 4:31 PM EDT) -- A New York federal judge reiterated Thursday that Chartis Specialty Insurance Co. and others must cover MGA Entertainment Inc. in a failed suit alleging it stole the idea for its Bratz dolls, saying allegedly stolen Bratz sketches weren't first published outside the policy period.
