False Statements To USPTO A 'Mistake,' Fed. Circ. Hears

Law360, Washington (August 8, 2013, 6:10 PM EDT) -- Intellect Wireless Inc. on Thursday said its false statements to a patent examiner that rendered unenforceable two wireless message patents asserted in a case against HTC Corp. were a “mistake,” not committed with specific intent to deceive, asking the Federal Circuit to reverse the lower court finding.
