Gillette False Ads Suit Doesn't Make Cut In 9th Circ.

Law360, Los Angeles (August 9, 2013, 10:40 PM EDT) -- The Ninth Circuit on Friday upheld a lower court’s decision to toss a putative class action against Procter & Gamble Co. in which the plaintiffs claimed the company exaggerated the benefits of its more expensive Gillette razors.

Ryan Edmundson, the named plaintiff in the suit, alleged the Proctor & Gamble unit falsely claimed its Fusion Power razors were better than its Fusion Manual razors, when the two were essentially the same.
