Calif. Appeals Court Nixes Wal-Mart Expansion Challenge

Law360, Los Angeles (August 14, 2013, 4:01 PM EDT) -- A California appeals court ruled Monday that a trial court correctly dismissed a suit challenging the approval of a Milpitas, Calif.-based Wal-Mart's expansion plan, finding that the lower court was right to conclude that the retailer was a necessary party in the action.
