Philly Ad Vendor's Contract Suit Against City Stays Alive

Law360, Philadelphia (August 14, 2013, 1:40 PM EDT) -- A former advertising vendor to the Philadelphia sheriff’s office’s suit against the city over contracts that were terminated amid allegations of suspect agreements and overcharging will move forward, after a Pennsylvania federal judge rejected a motion for dismissal Tuesday.

U.S. District Judge Legrome Davis concluded that there was sufficient uncertainty surrounding the composition of the contracts to allow all the claims levied by Reach Communications Specialists Inc. against the city, the sheriff’s office and others to continue.
