Domino's Defied TCPA With Unwanted Texting, Suit Says

Law360, New York (August 14, 2013, 3:44 PM EDT) -- Domino's Pizza LLC was hit with a putative class action lawsuit in Florida federal court Tuesday by a consumer who alleges the pizza chain sent thousands of illegal text messages in violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act.

Named plaintiff Ashley M. Law claims Domino's sent an unlawful text to her cellphone after she opted out of the pizza chain’s text message alert subscription and asserts that the company sent thousands of unlawful text messages in breach of the TCPA.
