UPS, Truckers Bury Hatchet Over Wage Policies

Law360, New York (February 7, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- After months of negotiations, UPS Ground Freight Inc. and a proposed class of long-haul truckers have agreed to settle an employment dispute challenging two of the shipping giant's policies related to wages.

In an order entered Thursday in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, Judge Martin J. Jenkins conditionally dismissed the case without prejudice after the parties advised the court they had reached a settlement.
