J&J, DePuy Fail To Split Up Consolidated Hip Implant Trial

Law360, New York (August 14, 2013, 7:11 PM EDT) -- A New Jersey state judge on Tuesday rejected a bid by Johnson & Johnson and subsidiary DePuy Orthopaedics Inc. to break up the consolidated trial of two bellwether cases alleging injuries from DePuy's ASR hip implants.

Ruling in centralized, state court litigation over the hip implants, Bergen County Superior Court Judge Brian R.
