Chobani Buyers Can't Seek Ruling Redo In Yogurt Label Suit

Law360, New York (August 15, 2013, 8:18 PM EDT) -- A California federal judge on Wednesday barred consumers in a proposed food-labeling class action against Chobani Inc. from trying to overturn a June ruling that gutted the suit, finding no basis to reconsider her application of state consumer protection law.

U.S. District Judge Lucy Koh refused to grant the plaintiffs leave to file a motion asking the judge to reconsider portions of her June 12 order in the suit, which alleges Chobani-made yogurt was mislabeled as “all natural” and as containing no added sugar.
