Conair Accused Of Selling Hair Dryers That Catch Fire

Law360, New York (August 16, 2013, 1:38 PM EDT) -- Conair Corp. was hit with a proposed class action in California federal court Thursday claiming the health and beauty products company failed to recall a hair dryer that catches on fire.

Named plaintiff Cynthia L. Czuhaj alleges that a Conair Infiniti Pro 1875 watt Salon Performance hair dryer burst into flames while she was drying her hair in August 2012, 10 months after she purchased the product.
