Colo. Atty General Won't Reopen Tax Debate For $824M Hotel

Law360, New York (August 16, 2013, 6:36 PM EDT) -- The Colorado attorney general's office on Thursday declined to take up a request from a group of hotels to have approved tax incentives re-evaluated and possibly revoked for a proposed $824 million hotel project that has changed ownership.

The office of Colorado Attorney General John W. Suthers said the hotel group's request to have the Colorado Economic Development Commission reconsider its prior approvals of an $81.4 million state incentive package for the Aurora, Colo., hotel is untimely, according to a letter sent to the petitioners....
