3rd Circ. Boots Pa. Gas Lease Row To State Court Under CAFA

Law360, Philadelphia (August 16, 2013, 6:32 PM EDT) -- The Third Circuit ruled Friday that a putative class action accusing Halcon Energy Inc. of violating agreements to lease mineral rights from Pennsylvania landowners belonged in state court under the federal Class Action Fairness Act despite that the plaintiffs had filed a previous complaint in federal court.
