Zillow Pays $50M For NY Real Estate Website StreetEasy

Law360, New York (August 19, 2013, 3:50 PM EDT) -- Seattle-based real estate services firm Zillow Inc. has agreed to acquire StreetEasy, the leading residential real estate website in the New York market, for $50 million in cash, Zillow announced Monday.

StreetEasy, which launched in 2006, provides information on all types of residential real estate in New York, particularly rentals. The real estate services firm has roughly 1.2 million unique users on its website per month, according to StreetEasy data.
