Calif. Court Flunks School's Arbitration Bid In OT Case

Law360, New York (August 22, 2013, 6:02 PM EDT) -- A California appeals court on Thursday shot down a bid by the operator of InterCoast Colleges to compel arbitration of a putative class action accusing the school of shorting employees on overtime pay, affirming a decision that it lacked jurisdiction because a class was not yet certified.
