New Damages Trial Set For Apple, Samsung Patent Fight

Law360, New York (August 23, 2013, 7:47 PM EDT) -- A California federal judge on Thursday set the stage for a new trial to assess damages Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. must pay for infringing Apple's patents covering smartphones and tablets after denying two procedural motions by Samsung that could have delayed the process.
