Fast-Food Worker Strikes Herald New Organizing Model

Law360, New York (August 23, 2013, 7:43 PM EDT) -- With strikes by fast-food workers gaining momentum, experts told Law360 that the walkouts are unlikely to produce scores of new union members but could still advance organized labor's goals by drumming up support for higher wages in the service sector and ushering in a less formalized organizing model.
