Highland Rebuffed Again In $15.5M BofA Loan Sale Case

Law360, New York (August 23, 2013, 6:39 PM EDT) -- A federal judge in Texas on Friday ruled for a second time that a Bank of America Corp. unit did not breach an oral agreement to sell a a $15.5 million loan to Highland Capital LP because the bank fully intended to consummate the deal with a written contract.

The opinion from Judge Sam A. Lindsay of the federal district court in Dallas was the final blow for Highland in the district court after the Fifth Circuit in October upheld part of Judge Lindsay's original dismissal...
