DirecTV Says Text Spam Suit Is 'Smoke And Mirrors'

Law360, New York (August 26, 2013, 1:21 PM EDT) -- DirecTV Inc. asked a Florida federal judge on Friday to boot a putative class action accusing it of text-spamming consumer cellphones, saying the complaint relies on sweeping conclusions and “smoke and mirrors” while offering few facts to support its claims.
