Google's Waze Buy Draws Antitrust Scrutiny In UK

Law360, New York (August 27, 2013, 12:54 PM EDT) -- The U.K.'s competition watchdog may investigate Google Inc.'s acquisition of the online mapping application developer Waze Inc. — a deal that has reportedly also piqued the interest of the Federal Trade Commission —  for possibly hampering competition in the market for navigation software, the regulator said Tuesday.
