2nd Circ. Won't Revive Whistleblower's $2B Beth Israel Row

Law360, New York (August 27, 2013, 3:56 PM EDT) -- A whistleblower accusing Beth Israel Medical Center of defrauding Medicare of tens of millions of dollars by submitting fraudulent reimbursement claims for hospitals it had bought, lost her Second Circuit appeal Tuesday to revive her $2 billion False Claims Act suit against the hospital.
