Mobile Doctors CEO Charged With Medicare Fraud

Law360, New York (August 27, 2013, 4:56 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Department of Justice on Tuesday announced it had arrested the CEO of Chicago-based house call service Mobile Doctors USA LLC, accusing him of running a multimillion-dollar Medicare fraud scheme.

According to the DOJ, Dike Ajiri — Mobile Doctors’ CEO and effective owner through a complicated ownership scheme — had operated a scam to “upcode” services billed to Medicare by the company, claiming those services were more complicated and involved than they actually were.
