'Candy Crush' Maker Accuses Rival Of Cloning Its Games

Law360, New York (August 28, 2013, 6:37 PM EDT) -- Facebook game developer King.com Ltd., creator of the popular “Candy Crush Saga,” launched a suit in California federal court Tuesday accusing rival 6 Waves LLC of infringing its copyright on two online games.

According to the complaint, 6 Waves substantially copied from King's “Pet Rescue Saga” and “Farm Heroes Saga” in making its “Treasure Epic” and “Farm Epic” games.
