Unilever Accused Of Bogus 'Natural' Shampoo Marketing

Law360, New York (August 29, 2013, 7:09 PM EDT) -- Unilever USA Inc. was hit with a proposed class action in New Jersey district court Wednesday alleging it advertises its TRESemme brand hair products as being natural when they actually contain synthetic ingredients.

Plaintiff Lainie Cohen alleges various TRESemme shampoos and conditioners are advertised on their front labels as being natural, with the language accompanied by the image of a green leaf.
