Engine Import Consultant Reaches $3.6M Air Pollution Deal

Law360, New York (August 30, 2013, 2:29 PM EDT) -- An engine certification consultant agreed Thursday to a $3.6 million penalty to resolve a government suit alleging his now-bankrupt firms submitted false information to win Clean Air Act approval for the import of Chinese off-road vehicles that violated federal emissions standards.
