Texas High Court Says Docs Named In Suits Are 'Parties'

Law360, New York (August 30, 2013, 7:29 PM EDT) -- The Texas Supreme Court ruled Friday that physicians or health care providers who've been hit with medical malpractice suits can be served with expert reports before they receive the actual suit because they can be "parties" to the action before receiving the actual document.
