Workers Who Drop Claims Can't Fight Decertification: 3rd Circ.

Law360, New York (September 4, 2013, 5:19 PM EDT) -- The Third Circuit on Wednesday found that workers cannot appeal a district court’s class decertification order after having voluntarily dropped their individual claims in the same court, dismissing two appeals brought by employees accusing University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and West Penn Allegheny Health System of forcing them to work through breaks.
