US Defends Iran Office Tower Forfeiture Suit

Law360, New York (September 5, 2013, 7:08 PM EDT) -- The U.S. government on Thursday urged a federal judge not to throw out a lawsuit seeking the forfeiture of a Manhattan office tower allegedly linked to the government of Iran, arguing that it has not used dirty tricks to try to win the case.

Government lawyers asked U.S. District Judge Katherine B. Forrest to allow them to take the case over the ownership of 650 Fifth Ave. to trial.
