FCC Will Handle Bloomberg's Comcast Gripe This Month

Law360, New York (September 6, 2013, 7:53 PM EDT) -- Federal regulators said Thursday they will soon address Bloomberg LP's long-standing complaint that Comcast Corp. has wrongly isolated the outlet's business network from other news stations, in violation of conditions imposed when the cable giant bought NBCUniversal Inc.

The Federal Communications Commission said it would consider enforcing a May 2012 administrative decision that Comcast had improperly placed placed Bloomberg's BTV outside of its system of so-called network neighborhoods — blocs of similar channels.
