Freeport Lands 2 More LNG Export Customers

Law360, Houston (September 9, 2013, 9:59 PM EDT) -- Freeport LNG Extraction LP said Monday it has signed a pair of long-term deals with Toshiba Corp. and SK E&S LNG LLC that will max out capacity for its planned natural gas liquefaction and export terminal in southeastern Texas.

Under the binding liquefaction tolling agreements, Toshiba and SK will each pay Freeport to process 2.2 million tons of natural gas annually at its liquefaction plant on Quintana Island, near Freeport, Texas.
