Alexandria Development Dispute Moot, Va. High Court Rules

Law360, Washington (September 9, 2013, 4:01 PM EDT) -- The Virginia Supreme Court on Friday dismissed an appeal over the city of Alexandria's approval of a plan to redevelop the city's waterfront with new hotels and other businesses, saying the case was moot after a City Council "supermajority" voted in favor of the plan.
