Foreign Rebar Cos. Call US Dumping Claims Ungrounded

Law360, New York (September 9, 2013, 6:31 PM EDT) -- The International Rebar Producer and Exporters Association on Friday responded to a group of American steel companies who claim rebar from Turkey and Mexico is being sold in the U.S. at unfairly low prices, calling the dumping allegations “ungrounded.”

IREPAS was responding to a request by America's Rebar Trade Action Coalition for the U.S. International Trade Commission and the U.S. Department of Commerce to open anti-dumping duty investigations into steel concrete reinforcing bar, or rebar, from Turkey and Mexico.
