Moldy Chobani Yogurt Caused Illnesses, Suit Says

Law360, New York (September 10, 2013, 4:39 PM EDT) -- Chobani Inc. was hit Monday with a proposed class action in California federal court accusing it of manufacturing and distributing mold-tainted Greek yogurt that caused some customers to fall ill.

The lawsuit followed last week’s announcement by the Twin Falls, Idaho-based company that it would voluntarily recall several varieties of its yogurt due to reports of product bloating and swelling and some claims of illness.
