GAO Shoots Down Protest Of $35M Missile Defense Contract

Law360, New York (September 12, 2013, 4:04 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Department of Defense's Missile Defense Agency rightly gave a $35 million administrative support contract to PeopleTec Inc., the U.S. Government Accountability Office said Wednesday, finding that Total Solutions Inc.'s protest was just disagreement with agency judgment.

While Total Solutions had complained that the MDA hadn't given enough weight to various aspects of its proposal for administrative support, the GAO said that its complaints were nothing more than disagreements with MDA about how it said it would evaluate bids, according to an agency decision made...
