Fox Can't Escape Contract Claims In 'Chipmunks' Film Suit

Law360, New York (September 12, 2013, 1:50 PM EDT) -- Twentieth Century Fox Film Corp. couldn't dodge a suit for contract breach and copyright infringement the “Alvin and the Chipmunks” enterprise brought for the film “Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel,” after a California federal court on Wednesday ruled there were questions of fact surrounding their production agreement.
