WesternOne Wins $97M Canada Workforce Housing Project

Law360, New York (September 12, 2013, 6:04 PM EDT) -- The construction subsidiary of Canadian infrastructure company WesternOne Inc. has been awarded a CA$100 million ($97 million) contract to design and build lodging to house oil and gas workers in Northern Alberta, WesternOne said on Thursday.

The Vancouver-based firm's Britco construction division was awarded the contract by a major energy company, WesternOne said. The firm did not disclose the identity of the energy company, though a WesternOne spokesman said more details on the contract would be released by the end of September.
