Law360, New York (September 12, 2013, 8:34 PM EDT) -- Efforts by the United Auto Workers to represent workers at a Tennessee Volkswagen plant in establishing a German-style works council could hit legal or other snags, but if they prove successful could provide a new labor model that opens the door for organizing at Southern facilities that have long been resistant to unionization drives.
