BNY Mellon Eyed As Custodian For Fla. Funds

Law360, New York (September 12, 2013, 6:44 PM EDT) -- A Florida State Board of Administration panel has recommended that the agency keep Bank of New York Mellon Corp. as custodian of the $166 billion in assets it oversees, which include the state's pension plan, an SBA spokesman said Thursday. 

BNY Mellon edged out State Street Bank & Trust and JP Morgan Chase & Co. to become the selection committee's recommendation, which has been sent to executive director Ashbel Williams, SBA spokesman Dennis MacKee told Law360 on Thursday.
