Mario Batali's Co. Axed Worker For Uneven Legs, Suit Says

Law360, New York (September 12, 2013, 9:41 PM EDT) -- A former employee hit restaurateur Mario Batali's B&B Hospitality Group with an Americans With Disabilities Act lawsuit in New York federal court Thursday, claiming she was discriminated against and ultimately fired because of leg length inequality stemming from a car wreck.

Plaintiff Ivana Hidalgo, who said she was fired from B&B's Tarry Market in Port Chester, N.Y., in July 2012, filed a discrimination and retaliation suit against B&B Hospitality Group LLC, Tarry Market and two general managers under the ADA and New York State law. ...
