DC Judge Won't Alter Or Stay FilmOn Streaming Ban

Law360, New York (September 16, 2013, 5:27 PM EDT) -- A D.C. federal judge on Thursday refused to reconsider a near-nationwide injunction against online television streaming service FilmOn X, and similarly declined to temporarily stay the order while FilmOn files an appeal.

U.S. District Judge Rosemary M. Collyer, who issued the preliminary injunction against FilmOn X on Sept. 5, rejected a number of reasons offered by the company for why she should rethink her ruling, including that she had misunderstood the technology at issue.
